It spent the winter in New Mexico and returned to Texas in June of 1970 and eventually made its way back to Britain. |

A look at Houston's Union Station in 1969. Only one train a day used the station then. Santa Fe's Texas Chief arrived each evening and departed each morning leaving the station quiet during the day. This is now Enron Field; home of the Houston Astros. |
