The 4472 Flying Scotsman traveled across much of the USA. It spent the winter in
New Mexico and returned to Texas in June of 1970 and eventually made its way back
to Britain.
A look at Houston's Union Station in 1969. Only one train a day used the station then.
Santa Fe's Texas Chief arrived each evening and departed each morning leaving the
station quiet during the day. This is now Enron Field; home of the Houston Astros.
