In May of 1969, the Sunset takes the tavern-lounge
observation "Good Cheer" to Lafayette Louisiana. The 1940 Pullman Standard round
end observation car was once part of the Kansas City Southern's "Southern
Belle". The car was retired from service in 1967 and is owned by the Gulf Coast
Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. Click on pictures for a larger image.
