Conroe, Texas International Railfan DestinationOn Jan. 30,2002 while at CPH 195 on UP Palestine Sub. near the interlocker I noticed a white car sitting near the interlocker by the UP MOW sheds. BNSF coal train C JRMMON was due anytime so I eased over by the interlocker too. There was a green signal at CPH195 also. But no headlight evident from South. I met Ian Lampkin, a fine English gentleman who was on his way back to Dallas to wrap up a railfan trip to Texas. We saw 2 UP trains pass in next 45 minutes before he had to head for Huntsville to get evening lodging. He emailed me a couple photos taken locally and will send me some of his home area.
